Hotel Krone in Bretten - an Excellent Location in the City's Old Town
Time seems to have come to a standstill on the historic market square in Bretten: white half-timbered houses with green wooden shutters built around the old fountain dating back as far as 1400; the Philipp-Melanchthon-House built of red sandstones, with a Gothic facade on the other side, next to the Old City Hall. Hotel Krone is Bretten's most traditional guesthouse. In 1550, Emperor Charles V even stayed here overnight.
