Built in the 16th century, this castle is surrounded by an idyllic pond and a huge garden (7 ha). It hosts the city hall, police station and restaurant. Events: lightfestival during Whit holiday celebrations, knight tournament, Highland games.

- Castle "Brackenheim"
Castle of the Renaissance era, owned by the Dukes of Wurttemberg dating back to the 16th century. Three-winged complex with archway, turreted staircase and gallery. Today used as district court, theater and apartments. The court is also used for cultural events.

Built around the 12th century. From 1723 on used as the summer home to the cardinal Damian Hugo von Schönborn. Chapell with wall frescoes historic events. Privately owned. Open to visitors only during the castle festival.

- Castle "Freudental"
In 1729, this castle was built for the countess Wilhelmine von Gracvenitz. From 1810 on it was used as the summer home to King Friedrich I of Wurttemberg. Today, it can be booked for events. The Empire-Park is unique.

- Castle "Graf Eberstein" in Gochsheim / Kraichtal
This castle hosts a unique exhibition of Hubbuch and Krieger paintings and handicrafts. Visitors will feel to time travel through the centuries.

Shield wall castle from the years 1150-1230, gutted by fire in the 17th century. Is still used as backdrop for concerts.

- Old Castle Neckarbischofsheim
The Old Castle is situated in the middle of the castle gardens, in the heart of the city. It is called "The Stone House" by the town's citizens and dates back to the 14th century. It hosts a local history museum. The New Castle is used as a hotel and a restaurant.

The lords of Sachsenheim built this water castle in Großsachsenheim as an impressive rotunda in timber framing. A wooden bridge connects the castle with a beautiful garden. Since 1962, the castle has been used as the town hall. Renovation until 2018.

The landmark of Vaihingen an der Enz, built on rock of shell limestone. It used to be the ancestral home to the Duke of Vaihingen, mentioned in 1096 for the first time. In 1534 a high lookout tower was constructed. Event tours can be organized.

Freely accessible castle ruins in a park with a lake, in the city center of Daisbach. Mentioned for the first time im 1366, it was probably built around 1200. Frei zugängliche Burgruine in einem Park mit See, in der Ortsmitte von Daisbach. 1366 erstmals erwähnt, vermutlich um 1200 erbaut. Thansk to citizens' initiative, the castle ruins have been restored.

Originally built in baroque style, in 1790 it was sold to the Princes of Karlsruhe. In 1855, a new building was constructed in Victorian style with Scottish elements. Today, the castle with its nymph fountain and English gardens can be booked for events. .
