What's the Best Hiking Tour to Start with? Try out the Circular Trail "Bretten Süd" - Passing Idyllic Woods and Views as far as to Rhineland Palatinate or even the Forest of Odes!

Starting point: the parking lot "Tierpark". You will walk through the forest and pass several magnificent outlooks: "Landshöhe", „Schöne Aussicht“ with a view as far as Maulbronn, the Ruit lookout tower and even a pulpit over the remains of an old castle. On your way back, you will walk through a forest called "Burgwäldle". With lots of scenic distant views and a soft overall increase of 323 m, even less ambitious hikers will enjoy this trail at a length of 15 km!

What about the Derdinger Horn or the Panorama Trail as your second choice? Passing the lovely village of Hohenklingen and the scenic village of Freudenstein? The Kraichgau Wine Trail should be your third choice. If your feet still don't ache, try out the "Enzschleifen"-Tour and the "Eppinger Linienweg", a former line of defensive embankment. This is the name of a 150 km - nordic walking route encompassing 23 different tours and various communities - Kürnbach, Knittlingen, Oberderdingen and Sternenfels - in the Kraichgau region. Discover boutique trails - whilst walking, practising Nordic Walking or running. Enjoy a glass of wine in one of the charming wine bars along the way ...
